European Shorthair, the SUV

Character

Descending from Egyptian cats and the African wild cat, European Shorthairs retain a trace of their wild ancestors in their genetic memory. Active, intelligent and skilled climbers, they enjoy the outdoors and always have their hunting instinct on.

European Shorthairs are resilient and can adapt to basic care; you don’t need to constantly look after them, which is why they are recommended for pet owners who don’t have much spare time.

Appearance

European Shorthairs have a compact and strong body, medium-sized in terms of both their bone structure and muscles. As adults, they can weigh from 3 to 5 kg. They also have short fur with a very thick undercoat.
